Hannah Bowen PGA Pittstop Golf Representative

Pittstop Golf

I am excited to be an ambassador for Pittstop Golf and love the products I have already purchased. What's fab about these products is the fact that I can train my swing and practice my golf in the way I want without having to leave the comfort of my own home. This has definitely been something I have been lucky enough to do in 2020 and leading into 2021.

The items I love the most are my swing path trainer and swing impact bag. I am also looking forward to introducing this swing aids to my pupils in 2021 and I know these will help my pupils get into the positions they need to without me having to place them in those positions myself. The products are easy to use and well manufactured for continuous use. If you don't believe me try them yourself. Even better get yourself 10% off using my code: HAN10.

I'm looking forward to seeing what changes you make to your swing this lockdown!!

Professional Golf
I turned professional in 2015 where I stated my PGA, I qualified in 2018 and graduated in 2019 where I began playing in ladies WPGA events. To date I came 2nd in the Ladies Minchinhampton Pro- Am.
I came 13th in the Ladies WPGA OOM 2019 and qualified for the Women’s LETAS International Challenge.
I competed in the ladies 2020 Tour School and despite a withdrawal am planning on doing the same in 2022.
I am a member of the LETAS Tour, Santander Tour, JRose Series and WPGA and will be playing these events hopefully with a little bit more ease as we get through the COVID pandemic.

Coaching and working
"I am a professional golfer and have been for 6 years, I continue to play and aspire to win a life changing tournament one day - all of which I do while trying to inspire others to take part in the sport, mainly girls and ladies. As an Ambassador for the Golf Union of Wales, we are working on a project called ‘New to Golf’ which is a scheme for Ladies, Girls and families to encourage new players to get involved.

I have hosted coaching clinics and work with corporate clients as a professional for European Golf Challenge pro-am and beat the pro events. I have ran TRI-Golf sessions at the Urdd and a few sessions at local Youth clubs to encourage participation. I am a qualified inclusive golf coach, coaching in events for disability sport, blind golf and the Chinese Autistic Society in Swansea. I love this work mainly because I get to give someone who doesn't necessarily have the freedom to take part in all the things I have done already in my lifetime, an opportunity to feel free and experience what it is like to work as both an individual and as part of a team.

What is good about golf is that it is a sport made for any abilities to play together, you don't have to be naturally gifted at it as it is learned. I work with charities and have currently been made an ambassador of Gloves Are On - the charity. I am excited for all the current work planned with them for the year, with our recent projects being mental health and body positivity, looking at the #bekind initiative. I have been trolled and bullied myself and am trying to inspire that if we have nothing good to say, say nothing at all. All of this you can see from my social media (@hannahgolf96). My big goal is to take part in tour school in the future to gain my LET tour card and to become a presenter and broadcaster, while also continuing my work in the community and with charities."

Caddy
I have caddied at the Celebrity Cup for 6 years where I have caddied foe Jodie Kidd, Bryan Redpath, Keith Duffy, Brian Mcfadden, Keith Duffy and Jenifer Gibney at the Celtic Manor Resort’s Roman Road course.
